when can babies start to eat meat?

As nutrition professionals, we used to recommend that babies start solids with infant cereals, then progress to fruits and veggies... and then meat!
But since we know that iron is the most important thing to focus on at six months and since meat is high in iron... it can now be one of baby's first foods!
That means babies can start eating meat at around
6 months old
(or 4-5 months if you puree it!)
