Omit the honey/brown sugar. (note: honey carries the risk of botulism for babies so it's really important to skip the honey!) Instead of adding the raisins and chopped apricots at the last step, cook them with the lentils to ensure they are very soft and won't pose as a choking hazard for baby.
Keep a salt shaker at the table for the older members of the family to salt their bowl to their liking.
